屬于TGF-β超家族的骨形態(tài)發(fā)生蛋白4（bone morphogenetic protein 4, BMP4）具有促進(jìn)腫瘤發(fā)生及侵襲轉(zhuǎn)移的作用，在多種惡性腫瘤組織中表達(dá)增加。近年來許多研究表明BMPs不僅能誘導(dǎo)成骨，而且對(duì)靶細(xì)胞的生長、分化以及凋亡具有調(diào)控作用，BMP4是BMPs中誘導(dǎo)成骨等生物學(xué)活性zui強(qiáng)的分子之一，人們發(fā)現(xiàn)其在多種腫瘤中表達(dá)異常，雖然將其應(yīng)用于臨床中還存在一些需要解決的問題，但隨著研究的深入，BMP4在發(fā)病機(jī)理、識(shí)別治療靶點(diǎn)、預(yù)測(cè)療效等方面應(yīng)用前景將更加廣闊。

Bone morphogenetic proteins （BMPs） constitute a subfamily within the TGF-family of structurally related signaling proteins. BMP-4 is involved in the development and maintenance of bone and cartilage. Recombinant human BMP-4, expressed in mammalian cells, is a 32-38 kDa homodimeric glycoprotein. StemRD's BMP-4 is made in human 293 cells, which renders human-specific post-translational modifications. We purified this product through a series of chromatography including HPLC.

? Purity: Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis
? Biological Activity: The activity was determined by using a BMP response element （BRE） reporter gene assay. The EC50 ranges from 1 - 5 ng/ml.
